Furthering Weston's ideas


 

In Weston's book, the "reframe the problem" chapter mentions that creative thinker will change their way on dealing with problems. Sometimes, the problems will be the opportunities, and instead of get rid of such "problems", we should ask how can we make use of them, and Weston calls it as opportunism.

From this point, I think such suggestion is mostly accepted and applied in recycling issues. For example, the photo of a DIY bulb vase above I found in a home decor blog is such a vivid and excellent idea of changing waste into valuable. It looks awesome with a natural layout.

Additionally, creativity also comes from exploring the beauty of nature. Below is a picture called "The art of a leaf" that only use a fallen leaf to create this amazing pattern. There are thousands of the dead leaves falling on the ground everyday, some people just pass away, ignoring them, or even treating them as the trash. However, creative artists are also acute observors and keen on the beauty of the nature. So they pick up the leave and create a creative masterpiece...
