Synthesis

Finally, we are almost done with this semester. This creativity class is the most "creative" class I have ever had and to me, I personally realized that the goals of the course has been accomplished and will further influence myself in the future.

In this course, we were getting ideas through varies sources such as books, activities to grasp ideas on theories, models, styles, techniques, and finally reach a deep understanding on how creativity works, how to find the problems and envision the future. Plus, my capability of team works has been improved through tones of collaborations with other classmates, from which we leverage each other's potential to make group genius, to move from vision to reality and use both creative and critical thinking to implement our ideas.Furthermore, as far as what I have learned, this valuable lesson on creativity would also help me to develop habits and nurturing my lifestyle via teaching me think and act creatively.

To synthesize, since I have utilized the blog as my PCA format, I take advantage of this digital format because it offers benefits on both vivid visuals and organized contents. From this blog, you can clearly see what I have noted, gathered, learned and synthesized from each courses, with verbal and visual aids. While along with this blog, I also want to explicit here that to well synthesize, I want to classify about what I have learned into two categories, that is, "How to do creatively" and "How to think creatively".

"How to do"
Based on what I learned from varies sources of the course, I personally developed a new model of creative process in order to make it suitable and feasible on my future career life.

              Personal Creative Process Model

"How to Think"
Despite it triggers me to create a novel model for my future personal use, it also help me to develop a habit to think the thinking, that is "How to think". Specifically, first of all, to think about the thinking, I need to be critical thinking, which means I should consider both "goods" and "bads" in terms of potential solutions. Secondly, the comprehensive thinking, in other words, besides the original ideas, I have to take into account of any possible substitutes and alternatives in case there is a much better approach to solve the problems and issues. Thirdly, loudly thinking, I term this as to encourage myself to think creatively anytime anywhere, and never underestimate my own creative ability in daily life. Everyone is capable enough to be creative, even though sometimes we come up with ugly ideas, they are still useful to be the stepping stone to develop a better idea.
